Bly Brodie stood outside her new resident building. Her parents had told her she didn't need to stay in res anymore but it felt like a second home. Yes, they didn't allow pets but that didn't stop her from often sneaking them in. This year was going to be different she was the RA which meant she would play by the rules. The extra money would pay for that trip around the world she wanted to take before she started her career.
As Bly stood there the old security guard Bill walked by. She smiled at him "How are things with you Bill? Have they solved the case of the murders yet?" Bill worried expression told her the police hadn't. "After all you student left for the summer the murders stopped. The police had no new leads so the case is at the bottom of the propriety list. I will watch better this year. Hopefully the murder graduated and we wont have to worry about him anymore" Bill exclaimed. Bly waved goodbye to Bill and carried on into the building. Bly thought 'back to earlier that year when a string of brutal murders had hit the campus. Unfortunately for Bly she had come across one of the victims or what was left of it.' Even the thought of it gave her the shivers. Having so desperately to help the victim she forgot to sniff losing any clue as to who the murderer might be. The murderer left one large clue it wasn't human. No human could that to another human.
She however had a theory over who or what might the killer be. Having gotten into every university she applied for she choose Toronto as a way of rebellion. The main reason was not because it was close to home but because of the large supernatural population that attended here. Of course her parents had forbidden her to go her. But in the end she finally convinced them it was the school for her. Despite it's nickname: the university of Toronto aka vampire city. She had got her way in the end and here she was 3 years later enjoying every minute of it. Not once ever having a problem with vampire until now.
As she climbed the stairs to her floor 'She though of the other RA's she would be training with and hoping they would be good people. As well as the many first years she would be guiding. And truly hoping the murderer did graduate.'

Darkness descended upon the city, the bars were fuller than they had been all summer. Nodding to the bouncer, she entered into the loud alcohol fuelled party. Immediately she spotter her prey. Alone in a corner, probably dragged out by a friend and forgotten about, this young man was out of his element. She grabbed a bottle of tequila from the bar and headed towards him. She stood next to him and whispered in his ear, "Hi, I'm Sam. I have this big bottle of tequila, would you mind helping me drink it?" Her soft british accent and body pushing up against his made him stutter out a yes.
He drank and she pretended to, this wasn't the drink she wanted. They made small talk, what little they could with the loud music blaring. She found out he was a student and that classes were starting soon. He was scared about the rumours of violent murders from last year. He also found her very attractive and was constantly trying to kiss her. "Do you want to go somewhere a little more quiet?" she soothed into his ear. He jumped up excited, she pulled him towards the backdoor into the alley.
Once in the alley, he groped at her and kissed her sloppily. 'This kid really doesn't know what he's doing' she thought while letting him think she was just as drunk as him. He reached down and hiked up her dress. This was it, She grabbed his head and looked deeply into his eyes. Her fangs lowered into place and his eyes filled with terror, she bit into his neck and drank deeply as he passed out into her arms. When finished she dropped him into a pile of garbage and whispered into his ear, "Thanks for the evening, those bite marks will heal before you sober up." She left the alley and started to walk down the street thinking about the murders that kid was so scared about.

She had been back in town one day and her friends had already convinced to her to head to the campus bar. Bly loved to party and socialize with the rest of them but she knew she needed to change soon. She decided to go party with her friends and knew that if she got lost in the crowd she would be able to lose her friends for a bit. After she lost them she would able to sneak out of the club and run around the city in her second form. So like any other night she did just that.
She knew to avoid humans and vampires alike. She wandered up and down back alleys until she found what she was looking for. The mouse stopped nibbling on it's cheese and looked up. It had sensed an enemy so it stood like a statue. Waiting for any movement. Bly 'laughed thinking the mouse was silly for thinking that standing still would do it any good.' And then she pounced but she was a sec to late. The mouse scurried off, not wanting to loose her toy Bly took off after it. The mouse lead her through a maze of different alleys. Finally catching up with the mouse she pounced this time catching her toy. As she nibbled on her small dinner a sudden stench hit her. It was the smell of death and she didn't like it one bit. As she approached the dead person she knew that he had been murdered. Body parts and blood were everywhere. Bly chuckled to herself 'his killer isn't a vampire.' Then coming to her senses she realized the murderer had to be stopped. And since the police weren't doing anything about it, she would. So she started to look for clues, after finding very little. She sniffed to see if the murderer left a smell, it was faint but she knew she would never forget it. After she got all she could off the body she returned back to the spot where she left her clothes and changed.
She knew she should call the cops but also knew it would be suspicious if she was to find a second body. She was going to do all she could for the victim but knew his body would have to wait a while until it was found. Not feeling liking partying now she returned to her dorm room.

The night was young, she had already fed, and now she wanted some fun. She wandered down the street looking for some thing to do. She came across the dorm buildings and decided to hang around waiting for some more drunk students to come by. Her phone rang, looking at the call display she sighed deeply.
"Yes?" callously answering, "No, I didn't hear. Yes i was there this evening. No I didn't kill anyone. Yes I'll be right there."
She sighed again, and started to walk quickly down the street. She went down an alley and opened the back door to one of the clothing stores in the area. She changed into a pair of jeans and grabbed a leather jacket and boots. She grabbed a gun from under the counter and left a note in its place to advise the store owner of who she was and what she had taken. She let herself out the same way she had come in and headed back to the club her evening started at.

Bly returned to her dorm. 'As she walked the corridors of her floor she knew something was wrong.' Most of the students had not arrived for the school year yet. 'She sniffed the air trying to see if it was a familiar scent. As she neared her door a large smile fell across her face.'
She 'opened the door, teeth barred and she pounced.' The person who sat on her bed pounced back. They wrestled on the floor for a bit. But the intruder got the better of her and had her pinned in no time. Bly laughed "Blaine what are you doing here? Aren't you suppose to be in Egypt? And if I knew you were coming I would have picked you up from the airport." Blaine 'grinned broadly' at his younger sister. "I'm back for a short visit. I figured I would stop by and visit my favorite little sister. I'm allowed to do that right? I know you made mom and dad promise not to visit you here but I didn't think you would banish me as well." Saying it the most childish mocking way possible. Bly smiled "Haha of course you can visit. But why are you here." She quickly 'grabbed two beverages from the fridge and sat down on the couch. Blaine joined her.' "Don't you bother to read the newspaper. My exhibit is on loan to the ROM and I'm here to oversee it. And I did call you like a zillion times. But it went straight to voice mail." Bly 'reached into her pocket to grab her phone.' She gasped. "Shit, double shit! It must have fallen out.. when I changed. And that area is probably surrounded by cops by now." Blaine raised his eyebrow at his sister. "There was so many problems with that sentence. But I have a feeling that we are going to go for a walk. And on the way I have something to tell you."

She approached the club, it was closed down due to the incident in the alley. The flashing lights bouncing off the buildings gave the whole street a blue and red glow. She headed straight to the lead detective, uniformed officers watched as she crossed the police line.
"So what do we have?" Sam asked the rather gruff looking detective.
The detective turned to face her, "A kid, seems to have been left in an alley. Best we can tell it seems to be a kid who was fed on by one of us, then slashed to ribbons. I smelt a werewolf that had been in the area. I don't think that were did it though. Filthy animal though was all over my crime scene. We found a cellphone a few alleys over, smells like the were too. Here you can have it, its not exactly what i would call admissible evidence." He handed the phone to Sam, who took it and started looking through the contacts and missed call list.
"Thanks, I'll see what I can do to help figure this out, I don't want every mortal we feed on to be killed it's bad for our cover." She said snidely as she walked off.
'Damn I hate that guy,' she thought as she left the flashing lights behind. She found herself wandering the street aimlessly trying to figure out what to do next.

She found herself wandering near the museum.
"I never understood people's fascination with museums." She muttered to herself.
A sudden wave of scents hit her as she walked passed a side entrance. One smell almost sickened her, the smell of werewolves. Another far overpowering the other smells was that of blood, a lot of it. Her fangs descended into place as she walked slowly to the door. The smell of the wolf blood was almost nauseating. But she smelled something else, the same smell as the other crime scene.
'Damn werewolves disgusting creatures.' She thought leaning right beside the door. Reaching for the door handle she found it locked, She pulled hard and snapped the door off its hinges. It made more noise than she would have liked, but she glided into the museum and followed the scent of blood. Sticking to the shadows, gliding from room to room as the blood became more and more overpowering of a scent. She stepped into the room where the carnage had taken place. She recognized the M.O. right away its the same killer that killed her meal earlier that same night.
'Why here? Why a wolf?' she thought.
She saw the young woman crying her eyes out over the torn up body of what seemed to be a male.
'Brother? mate? Hmmm'
She stepped forward, "Hello little puppy, no sudden movements or I'm going to have to pull you limb from limb. Just stand up with your hands in the air." She barred her fangs as she spoke. She was kinda hoping for a fight.

She had heard the door bang open. 'Craptactular, just what I need a Parasite.' She snapped out of her mourning. After the Cold One told her she was ready for a fight, she lost it again. She hissed her response "Unless you can prove to me you're a cop, I'm not gonna stand up. My father has lost one child tonight I don't think he would appreciate losing another. Considering the way I'm feeling tonight, you would probably win, but I also don't want to call him and explain why we need to make all traces of you disappear. I know you fed already, It was your corpse in the alleyway, he reeked of your cheap perfume. Yes, this has the same MO as the recent murders. There is a Cerebral contusion but that's odd why would he bleed if he was already dead? Oh, but that means he was alive when he started to bleed out." Her voice softened and they stood there in silence for a few minutes.
"I don't know if his killer and this murderer who's been killing people on the streets is the same person. But I do know that my brother was killed because of something he was working on." Only just realizing the vampire was still standing there she turned and faced her, "Could do us all a favour and keep those fangs to yourself. Or better yet, fuck off. If you want to stick around then help me find my brother's office." She stood up abruptly.
She headed up the stairs towards the ancient civilization exhibit. 'Hopefully he didn't change offices since the last time.' She headed through the door marked EMPLOYEES ONLY. She walked to the third door on the right and sniffed. 'Yep, definitely his office.' She jiggled the door handle, "Crap, it's locked." She took a few steps, started a little run and body checked the door. It opened with a bang. She looked around and headed straight to the desk. She sat down in the chair and started to rifle through the papers on his desk. She opened several drawers until she found the one that would open the secret compartment. She slid the drawer half way out and the slowly slid it so it was only open an inch. Then opened it halfway again and then the secret compartment dropped. She lifted the lid, inside were several document, pictures, and a small diamond.
She thought back 'to when Blaine had taken the job as assistant curator of ancient artifacts. Although hesitant she had convinced him to take the job as he was one of the people who ever bothered to research other supernaturals. And it had gotten him killed, this was all her fault. Most people believe that the Egyptian existed, but most people didn't realize what the Egyptians and most famous civilizations were. It was her brother's job to protect there secrets. He often found interesting items that he would bring back to Canada to study closer. Maybe it was an object this killer was after.'
And decided she needed to head her brother's apartment room.

She stood dumbfounded as the young pup walked off.
"I can't believe the nerve of that mangy little mutt." She said to the room.
'However that dog has got some seriously big kahunas to stand up to me.' She thought to herself.
Outside the sound of sirens was filling the air, "This place will be swarming with cops soon, you stay put." She said to the body lying bloody on the floor. with that she stalked off following the young werewolf. Careful to stick to the shadows and stay downwind so she wouldn't be smelt.

(:ooc Caelitus has permission to portray Bly)
Blaine's apartment was several blocks away from the university. However, the museum was several subway stations away from where she was. As it was now four she knew the subway was not an option. "I could do with a run" she thought to herself. She headed toward the nearest back exit and changed quickly. She headed east towards her brother's apartment.
Knowing it would be unforgivable if she was caught she decided to stick to the side streets and parks. At this time the city was virtually empty. As she headed through one of the many parks in Toronto she could hear voices. This could be a problem, if they saw her. And it wasn't exactly normal to see a naked women running through a park at 4 am. She tried to avoid them as much as possible. However, they seemed to be an argument happening. And what they were discussing made her decide she needed a closer look.
As she creeped closer to the clearing. She caught a glimpse of several men. Some of them were in suits and some where covered in tattoos. The leader of the tattoo people spoke "look we killed that Brodie boy, we want our payment. And we want extra payment because you didn't inform us about him being a werewolf and all." The leader of the suits then spoke "My boss says I should pay you nothing. You didn't follow the plan. His death was suppose to look like an accident and that was no accident. No payment until the heats off."
'These were the men that were directly related to her brother's death. She could run in and maybe get a few of them. But this wouldn't give her any answers.' So deep in her thoughts she completely missed what the men said next. She looked back into the clearing and saw several tattooed men heading towards her. She saw that the suits had retreated.
She realized rather to late that she had been seen or sensed. And with that she lunged at the tattoo leader. Ripping at his neck. Meanwhile several of her attackers had come around her back and were trying to take her out. She only hoped she would come out of this situation unscathed.
