Kalttor is the seat of all things evil; it's the capital of Caracalon, and the place of power for the self-styled King, Assur-Seth. Kalttor itself is comprised of a barren wasteland, dominated by warfare, steel, sweat and blood. Caracalon is a warlike nation, and its capital mirrors this. The castle itself is a hulking giant of steel, mortar and stone. Watchtowers dot its walls, and even to the casual passer-by it is obvious that the capital is kept well-garrisoned.

Deep within Kalttor is a district known as the slums. The streets are filthy, and it is not uncommon to see excrement, bodies, and the like on the ground. Typically the slums are left ungoverned, and the area operates under the "kill or be killed" theory. Pot shops are the only form of money or retail in this area, operated by the richest of the poor. Many slum residents frequent them, and no one ever bothers to question what's actually in today's stew...

Commonly known as the most popular tavern in Caracalon, the Immoral Harlot, most often called the "Harlot", sports quite a crowd on a regular basis. It's owner, the infamous Sylash Tourcha, is widely known for her assassin expertise. Many believe that the Harlot attracts the most customers purely as a result of Sylash's talents and additional "business". The tavern itself is nothing short of ordinary, but prides itself on its excellent ale.

The Bloody Sword is a ramshackle building which attracts an odd assortment of regulars. Very few people frequent the building so it is the perfect place for a person to hide or forget the world. The owner, Calerin Yarith, is rarely seen, and often has employees manage the general day-to-day operations of his buisness. Very little is actually known about Calerin himself.

On the outskirts of Kalttor is a small, nondescript little Inn called the Corrupt Crusader. Run by Tyaela Ithen, the Crusader plays host to the majority of Caracalon's visitors, as inns are few and far between in the nation. The establishment itself is nothing fancy, but it suits its purpose none the less. Rooms and a nice hot meal are provided for by the innkeep herself for a price.

The most frequented (and wealthiest) establishment in all of Kalttor and possibly Caracalon is the Enchantress. Run by the mysterious Ardinn Zhoia, an exotic wind elemental, the Enchantress sports quite a crowd based purely on its prime mistress. Girls are highly sought after, and Ardinn is known to favor cross-breeds, such as herself, over pure blood, as they supposedly lend an "exotic" quality to her girls. The King himself has been seen here on occasion, and his son has shown a particular interest in it as of late.

To the south of the continent lives a patch of barren land coined the Morasa Wastelands. Very few things inhabit this section of the nation, as it can barely support life. The Wastelands stretch on for miles, and consist of rock, dust, and dying trees. Little is known about how the Wastelands progressed to such a state, but the nation's citizens suspect that it was as a result of the war, back when Caracalon was known as Valen.

Stralltur is a large, sprawling town located on the outskirts of the Morasa Wastelands. It tends to mimic the land around it, and although it is one of the largest cities in the area its in a constant state of disrepair. Its inhabitants are of the worst sort in general. The land itself is governed by Ryasurrin Aenasu, the resident duke who pays homage to Assur-Seth.

Raniss Harbour consists of a small port connected to the town of Zhordra. The Harbour itself is one of the few prime trading posts in all of Caracalon, as the country tends to do very little business with the surrounding nations. Raniss also tends to be the home of very notorious pirating groups, known for disrupting trade routes and profitable economic exchanges.

Adjacent to the Raniss Harbour is a smaller yet profitable town known as Zhordra. The most well regarded characters in all of Caracalon come from Zhordra. Currently, the town is maintained by the Duke and Duchess, Caellylis and Phyana Arith. The town itself is not particularly well kept, as seems to be the trend in the entire nation, however, the terrain itself is incredibly undamaged by the war, and the land is very fertile being so close to water and river beds.

Ashuntor is an inshore barracks at the western edge of the province near the boundaries of the Belanoche and Comeltum. Ashuntor is primarily comprised of the pride of Caracalon's military, as they tend to deal with quite a few border skirmishes between themselves and the High King's land. Siasriria Aeliria is the Military General currently posted there. Well respected among the majority of Caracalon's military personnel, she's Assur-Seth's right hand lady.

Ranurn Outpost is situated on the southwestern tip of the province, guarding the border lines between themselves and Silkamolus (although guards at Ranurn have been particularly lax as of late due to increased communications between the two nations). Kalimos Yarrion is the Commander currently posted at Ranurn Outpost Ranurn is primarily garrisoned by humans, but it does hold the largest portion of fire elemental recruits.

Nidryn guards the northeastern edge of the province, and the borders between themselves and Nivern. Nidryn itself is solely composed of human recruits or born and raised Caracalon military. Maluard Umaril is the Commander posted here currently, although many wonder how he managed to achieve the position that he did. Mal's odd parentage has often made it difficult for him to interact well with his peers, but he possesses an excellent military mind.
