Hey Everyone-
I sent out an email about this, but there still seems to be some confusion so I'm making it into an announcement. I'm trying to cut back on the hassle that joining can create, organizationally, for mods and admins if people post in the improper section. So please read the email I sent out below:
Hey guys! I've noticed that there seems to be some confusion in regards to joining. Again, I strongly suggest that people read over the board so this doesn't happen again and create confusion on the part of admins. Reading over board information is also key to developing your character and to familiarizing yourself with the board. I know it's huge, but it takes very little time to read to be honest- there aren't as many threads as you think. I should know, I designed it.
Just take a few moments to read things over before posting please and thanks! It'll eliminate a lot of these problems.
Because I know the board is massive, I'm going to run everyone through the joining process again. I strongly suggest that if you have any questions, please post in a question related forum. lol. After all, that's what they're there for.
If you're joining with a character that you've made up completely on your own, you need to get the appropriate form here...

More people than naught have been posting in Key Realm Character sections in order to join when there's an entire forum devoted to joining (see joining in the Information section here):

Again, not a big deal, but it creates difficulties for admins such as myself or Llamadog to approve characters when we don't know if you're applying for a position or not. If you're intent on applying for a Key Realm Character (characters that are integral to plot development or are important in some way, shape or form) you can post in the appropriate key realm char section. There is one for Earth Characters, and another for Leriso characters. Here are both links:

Make sure to state what position you're apply for if you are applying for a Key Realm Char. Again, I know this is more organizational than anything, but it helps to create less hassle, board-wise if we keep this stuff straight.
Also, I strongly suggest creating a character profile after you've been approved, just because I tend to delete posts so they don't clutter the board. Thanks again guys, and I hope that clears things up a bit!
