To put it simply, the Kindred are the creatures of the night otherwise known as Vampires. They are cruel and voracious predators that feed on the blood of mortals and kindred alike. They can live forever, as long as nothing sees to it that they meet their ends. However, no two vampires are alike! They are broken up into various Clans, which are otherwise known as Races.
Clan Daeva
A member of Clan Daeva is better known as a succubus. They are sexual predators who use their sex appeal and charm to woo their prey into a sense of security and eventually make them into their sustainment. A member of Clan Daeva is quite beautiful and immensely charming. However, as a member of Clan Daeva a Kindred loses their sense of emotion and is rendered incapable of feeling any emotion other than lust and love.
Clan Gangrel
The Gangrel are kindred that try to stay as close to nature as possible. Their abilities pertain to anything with nature, for instance a Gagrel will be able to become the earth. A Gangrel is typically very animalistic, and incredibly well versed in their self-knowledge. They are confident, and singular.
Clan Mekhet
The Mekhet are kindred that choose to be secretive. They deal in the exchange of knowledge. They are always seeking knowledge and wisdom, and are looked upon as the secret bearers of the World of Darkness. They prefer to hide rather than fight, stand back and learn the secrets of the world.
Clan Nosferatu
Ugly and fearsome to look at. The Nosferatu are creatures of the night, but because of their ugly appearance and strange social habits, the Nosferatu are loners and very difficult to communicate with. Their usual places of business are in sewers and other secluded places.
Clan Ventrue
The Power-hungry Vampire. These Kindred believe that they are the thingy-of-the-walk and are typically turned to as the leaders of Kindred civilization. They are quite fond of their power and usually exert it upon others.
