T.G.R was my (Talia's) brainchild. It started shortly after my obsession with RPing died down due to various reasons. I loved RPing still, but just couldn't find the opportunity or the roleplaying companions. Boards that I frequented started becoming more and more bare. I got the idea that instead of continually changing from one board to the next, I should create my own and combine my old boards that I used to frequent with mine. With their permission, I added their worlds to my own to create a massive roleplaying environment.
Now for a bit of history in regards to T.G.R. It was discovered that worlds not much unlike our own were actually interconnected, and separated by gateways- the thin fabric of the universe. A few founders discovered the first gateways into other universes, and proceeded to create the Hall of Souls- the hub housing all the discovered doorways between universes. Their descendants are the current 4 Sages that must be approached at least once before any character can travel to a world that they were not born in. The Sages govern the use of the gateways, and impart the wisdom of the universe on their charges. They are respected beings, not to be toyed with in the slightest, for they have it within their control to trap you in the deepest pits of the universe if they wish.
Each universe that has been "discovered" so far has its own distinct history, listed under their individual OOC sections.
