Title: the White Queen

Powers: Arcane natural abilities and the power to influence life and matter around her

History: She is a Strangeling, an Elite shifter born of a human nobleman in a beautiful house within the nobleman courts. Her shifter ability was discovered when she was startled while learning to walk, instantly shifting to a small white cat to hide. Treated as a servant ever since, she escaped with the help of her new shifter guard and has since taken her place at the forefront of this war for freedom.

Appearance: As a human she is exceedingly pale, her ivory skin only rivaled by her shining silver hair. Her eyes are slanted, almond shaped orbs that give a feral, exotic look, the bright blue-grey coloring starkly unique. In all other animalisitic forms she is pure, gleaming white - all forms have yet to be found.

Personality: She has always been one to keep most thoughts to herself. She doesn't lay out her plan in detail for everyone to observe, but instead has everyone know their own part. She holds a solid stance and calm face in front of everyone, but afterwards she finds an isolated spot to show her true emotions. Outwardly nothing seems to effect her, which is how she wants it - being a large believer in Fate, she accepts things as they are without allowing it to shake her too much. Although she always has a fatalistic demeanor, she enjoys nature and finds a comforting beauty in observing it. Though she always keeps a cool head while things happen, she is at rare times known to break down after the fact. Because of this she takes a sip from a potion the Old Witch brewed for her in their travels every night before sleep, to ensure she rests well. However, she only takes a sip instead of the usual mouthful allowed for this potion as she does not want to sleep so deeply as to be caught unawares.

Heritage: As a Strangeling, she has no heritage to claim.

Mate: Undiscovered as of yet.

Job: She is the alpha of alphas, overseeing how everyone interacts with each other, as well as with other clans that will be formed as the shifters are freed.

Diet: Having several forms, she eats both plants and meat. Because of this she must shift between carnivorous and herbaceous forms to feed both cravings. Her favorite foods are squirrel meat and winterberries.

Home: The type of home most suited for her would be a free standing cave-like structure made of branches, vines and other plants woven together to keep out the rain and trap heat.

Title: ArchMage (commonly called the Old Witch)

Powers: While all shifters possess some minor arcane ability, the Old Witch posses powers that others would never dare even dream of. Spell weaving, superior control over the element of choice, sight through time and the breaking of wards and mind-blocks are among these.

History: As all other ArchMages, she was chosen by the greatest sorcerer of her time and taught the old secrets, handed down through hundreds of thousands of years to ensure that the student would be learning from millions of beings. She was originally a normal wolf in appearance, if larger and sturdier than most. Throughout years of learning, followed by years of independent study, she has altered her appearance, a common practice by ArchMages that, while often discovered, is never specifically shared.

Appearance: She appears to be a very large, overly-sturdy wolfess with a broader, more dragon shaped muzzle than any natural born wolf. She has a great mane of hair about her head and a massive pair of feathered wings that seem to be coated in the same fur as the rest of her body, her coat bearing the common colors of a grey wolf.

Personality: Being the ArchMage and a wolf makes her a very strong alpha personality. She enjoys watching those under her scurry about while she retains knowledge and a calm head. She has a strong sense in regards to woven or broken magics, as well as a noble heart. It was she that placed the curse on the old lands, deeming any who would ignore the death there in order to build their own home as disrespectful to the loss of their kind. Through her abilities, any who attempt to live there will suffer from the very structure of their clan breaking apart and the members therein to die, as no shifter can survive for long without a proper clan and family. Those who manage to find others to start again with elsewhere will die within a year and a day of when they left, regardless. While she is not quick to anger, her anger will last and often such standing curses as these will be formed, although specific to the one that offended her. Her favorite pass time is manipulating various elements with her magic.

Heritage: Born of WolfHunter wolf and FireSpark dragon, a pairing between a powerful clan hunter and the keeper of flames, she was certain to be a great power in hunting had she not been chosen by the ArchMage of her time. She had one brother, born after years of trying on the part of her parents, as cubs are rare and few for shifters. He was killed in the great attack at the beginning of the war.

Mate: ArchMages do not choose mates, however they are often close friends with the LoreKeep

Job: Her position is to aid in all things magic, from sleeping potions to repairing the land after a great storm. Often times creatures approach her to deem the gender of their baby, rather a loved one will return safely or other such inquiries that involve sight through time. All protective spells over the land of a clan is the responsibility of the ArchMage.

Diet: She is often ravenous as her magics require use of energy, which is best restored through feasting. Any meat is in danger of disappearing while she is around, save that which belongs to the queen or the LoreKeep. Her favorite meat is that of elk.

House: A stone cave is her ideal home, hidden, winding and completely sealed off from the elements. Dry bedding and a stash of meat would mean she would rarely be seen outside this preferred home.
