To join, please post your character below using the appropriate form. Members will be approved periodically by admin and mods. Mods are allowed to approve members from their world only, however, if a mod is gone for an extended period of time, admin will approve their characters as well.

Once your character has been approved, you may post with them wherever you wish.

You may post your character's profile under their birth world if you wish, but it is not necessary. Their name however will be added to a list in their birth world.

Before a character posts in another world that is not their own, they must post and talk to a Sage (there are 4) from the Hall of Souls. Sages give advice, occasionally foretell events, and direct characters. If a character posts outside of their birth world without talking to a Sage, I will remind you. Usually Sage posts are short, no worries... see the Sage section for more information

Note On Aging: Elementals and Elves do not age the same way as humans do. Elves and elementals are immortal in the fact that they do not die if no hardship visits them- however, they can be slain, or die of grief, etc. Elves reach their full height and hit puberty at 50 years, and have reached their full maturity at 100 years of age. After that, all there really is left to gain is wisdom and experience, sort to speak. Regardless of how many years old an elf is, it still looks relatively unchanged after 100 years, as they age rather slowly. The same applies for elementals.

Eyes are a piercing Grey that he has used to stare down people even twice his size, strength or skill.

Brief history of the character:Born in New Orleans, to a moderately wealthy family. Quite religious family and his parents had always wanted him to become a priest. He left New Orleans at the age of 17 to travel around the world. Got his power at the age of 19 while backpacking in Eastern Europe, was trained by a mage in Russia who grown up under the regime of Stalin. Left when his master tried to force him into limiting his abilities. and continued to travel the world learning from whoever he could, wherever he could. In his travels he has had some minor encounters with Vampires and Werewolves and prefers to keep his distance from them. His family died during hurricane Katrina, so he decided to move back home. He owns the house and all the assets of his family. Been in New Orleans ever since.

Has a tendency to use his power to his own aims and doesn't shy away from using his power violently. Understands well the code of secrecy and has killed in the past to keep the code as his original master taught him. Ability to sense others of his kind around him, however tries to stay out of their business when possible.

Brief history of the character: Little is known of her past. She was raisedl in various orphanage and foster homes throughout the northern states and southern provinces in Canada. Most foster families knew that she was different. This often led to problems for her; the foster children picked on her and the foster parents often took there anger out on her. Tired of living from one home to the next she decided to run away from her last home at 13. Knowing she was different from other people she kept to herself. Often hitchhiking and doing some not so legal stuff to make an income. However one day she saves the life of a young child and realizes her oddness (as she calls it) can be used for good. A good, her short life has known little of. Realizing that there might be a better life for her she starts to research her past. Hearing rumors that there might be others like her she heads to New Orleans.

Can be violent but only when another gets in her way of survival. Hopes to find others of her kind to better understand who she is.

Description: Slender and long-limbed, Alison stands at 5'8" and moves with a natural athletic grace. Her skin is fair, easily sunburned, and covered with a light smattering of freckles. She typically wears her long, reddish-brown hair loose about her shoulders or tied in a ponytail at the nape of her neck. Her large hazel eyes give her something of a look of constant surprise or awe. Never one for spending a great deal of time on getting ready in the morning, she rarely wears more makeup than a dash of eyeliner and a quick coat of lip gloss, and can usually be seen dressed in whatever she chances to pull from her closet of eclectic vintage-style clothes.

Brief History: Alison is your typical all-American girl. Growing up with four older brothers in a quiet Wichita suburb, she spent just as much of her young life playing football with the boys as she did studying. She was named valedictorian of her graduating class, headed the cheerleading squad and the drama club, made the all-state track team, and for all intents and purposes had absolutely nothing ahead of her but a bright, shining future.

A week-long visit with cousins in New Orleans made her fall in love with the city and all its charms, and upon graduating from high school she moved to the Big Easy and began a degree in Art History at the University of New Orleans. Her quick wit, willful nature and easy way with social situations have usually carried the day, but during a series of strange dreams and even stranger days she has begun to notice a somewhat disturbing change in her typically well-ordered existence. The changes have thus far been small and erratic, but as they continue to escalate she wonders if, when she had wished herself out of Wichita for good, she ought to have been careful what she wished for.

Friends: Alison keeps in regular contact with her family in Kansas and her close friends from high school, and hangs out regularly with members of her sorority. Recently she has begun a relationship with a fellow student from one of her classes - a move that seems to have raised a few eyebrows for reasons she can't fathom and no one else seems willing to explain.

Relative information: Bright, headstrong, ambitious and independent, Alison is as quick to anger as she is to laughter and becomes annoyed when things don't go as planned or when she finds herself at any disadvantage in skill, knowledge or understanding. She makes friends easily, and is fiercely loyal to and protective of those who take the time and effort to gain her trust. She is somewhat above-average dexterity and agility due to years of running and physical activity, but does not believe she would be able to defend herself in any sort of fight.
