His pale eyes fluttered closed for the briefest of moments as she whispered into his neck. The lingering sensation of her teeth on his bare skin made him exhale slowly, as he felt his body warm to the sensation, grasping onto the lingering promise of aggression like a lifeline. He too felt Draeth’s influence, although the dragon was not intending to do so. The instinct to fight, to tear clothing and feel nails digging into his bare skin was... overwhelming. The dragons were forceful, fighting for the other’s affection, earning their dominance and their right to be with their mate.
He still wanted to be fought.
His hips pinned hers as his body demanded the contact. There was a war going on in his head- he wanted the struggle, the power-play. The other half of him was playful, like a predator toying with its prey- full of dangerous intent but relatively harmless... for the moment. The human side of him was barely visible now. Part of him wanted the contact that they first had- tender and loving. But there was no room for that here. They would have to claim each other as their mates, much as their bonds.
He nibbled lightly at the lobe of her ear and worked his way down her neck, his teeth making slight marks on her skin but never breaking it. He inhaled, taking in the scent of her; the heady aroma of human pheromones coupled with the heat of the moment. He needed to feel her though. She was never close enough for him.
With his hips still pressed tightly against hers, it took him less than a moment to carelessly remove his tunic. The clothing lay forgotten and discarded on the floor below, evidence of his distraction. He eyed her clothing, his expression showing his distaste at being impeded. One of his hands lingered at her collar, as if prepared to tease and toy. He grasped the cloth suddenly and pulled, feeling altogether too satisfied when the clothing gave way with an audible rip, creating a long tear down to her navel.
The human part of Kolir muttered almost inaudibly in the back of his mind – You can replace it later.... This new, feral Kolir almost laughed at the ridiculousness of the statement- clothing was material, a hindrance -something that covered and prevented him from being close to his mate. Why would he want to replace it?
Her clothing still barely clung to her form, ripped as it was, but it left everything exposed that he wanted- at least, at the moment. His hands suddenly grasped her backside as he lifted her, pushing her against the wall so that her legs would be straddling his torso as he toyed with her. He needed her, and still wanted to heed her instructions to take her now. But that would be too brief, too sudden, and he wanted to prolong this.
He was expecting some resistance- he knew that the draconic half of her would eventually fight him as well. He just didn’t know when to expect it...
The silver observed her while she pondered her own thoughts, acutely aware that she was doing the same. When she spoke, he was surprised by her relative honesty and bluntness. He could sympathize with her- when he had been born, he had been the first of his kind for as long as the humans could remember. He had been forced to teach himself the ways of his ancestors, through instincts and many, many mistakes. The utter frustration he had felt initially at not knowing what he was supposed to do, how he was supposed to do things, had been more than he could tolerate. Her unease was normal- at least she would have her own kind to learn from, and a human tutor to tell her more about her kind and what to expect.
I still feel uneasy, he admitted, careful not to negate her own feelings. There was much that I taught others, much that I learned from default that I am still not sure of. And there are many things that I have not experienced, and that I am still uncertain of. I had a hard time accepting that this was the way of things. That I was at the whim of my bonded, and he at mine. I still do at times.
Her subtle resentment was something he knew well, although for different reasons. He could understand her reasoning, but he knew that time would help to cure that. It did not take long for a bond to grow. He could not hide anything from Kolir within months of being with him, and being in his head felt as easy as putting on a glove, or wearing a second skin.
You are not the only one that has felt that way. It takes very little time though to be at this point. This is the human that you sought out, that you were meant to be with. Regardless of how many years you have spent apart from them physically, you will catch up. Believe me.
Draeth fed off the feral nature that Kolir was exuding, and chuckled as he attempted to grasp onto his humanity a bit longer. The two of them would lose themselves. One of them would have to break soon. There was so much control behind his movements, but he could feel the raw energy behind them, just waiting to break loose. At least he would be able to live off of their moment while it lasted. It would be the only moment, the only climax, that would even palely reflect his own mating. He may as well enjoy it. He had not tried to influence Kolir’s actions- the man fed off of him as easily as he did, although the dragon was tempted to subtly influence events a bit if he could.
The dragon’s eyes flickered over the young amethyst as he caught glimpses and pictures of what was happening down the hallway. He knew Sayani was influencing some of this, as was evident by the wicked look of satisfaction that briefly crossed her face. He almost smirked himself. As long as she did not get carried away, the two of them might actually get more enjoyment out of this than was usual.
He growled with rumbling laughter at her sharp response and quick wit. His eyes glimmered with hidden intent, and his tail swished rhythmically like a cat’s as he bathed himself in the moment. One thing was for sure- the little femme would enjoy the chase just as much as he would. If she did not seem put out by the roughness and violence of it all, then perhaps they were meant to be mates after all.
The dragon yawned ferociously and stretched before coiling himself up again, his nose resting on the top of his scaled tail that hugged his massive bulk.
He smirked again at her other comment and quickly squashed it with a look of false innocence.
Hmm? What thoughts? he asked blithely with another yawn, his eyes shimmering. Surely she could hear snatches of his thoughts as easily as he could hear hers, after all.
He grumbled lazily, the rumbling echoing through the hollow room. He needed to fly, but he was too weighed down by the lust from the humans. He could barely bring himself to stretch his wings.
Kolir thinks that many things are soon to come... he still needs to find the other bonds as well. Hopefully you will relish the adventure. He and I have done much traveling over the years.
